Scam linked to Virendra Ram
The seized cash is said to be linked to the scam involving suspended chief engineer Virendra K. Ram, whom the ED arrested in February 2023 in a money laundering case.
The case is linked to the tender management and transfer posting in the rural development department where mafia engineers and the minister’s favourite contractors ruled the roost.
