New Delhi, June 6: Sources indicate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be sworn in for a third consecutive term on June 9.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) achieved a third consecutive term in office, with the Lok Sabha election results announced on June 4.
Sources indicate that PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony is expected to be scheduled for 6 pm on June 9.
Previously, there was speculation that the swearing-in ceremony for the new NDA government led by PM Modi would be on Saturday, June 8.
The date of the oath-taking ceremony has not yet been officially confirmed.

NDA parties elected PM Modi as their leader yesterday
On Wednesday, leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parties convened a meeting and unanimously chose Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their leader.
The meeting saw the attendance of BJP president JP Nadda, BJP leaders Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, along with allies such as Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chandrababu Naidu, Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy, Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan, and Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Praful Patel, and several others.
Apart from this, AJSU chief Sudesh Mahto, RLD’s Jayant Chaudhary, Apna Dal (Sonelal) leader Anupriya Patel and HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi were also present in the meeting.
