New Delhi, June 27: In relation to the purported anomalies in the NEET-UG exam, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) apprehended two people from Bihar’s capital Patna on Thursday.
A senior CBI official confirmed the arrest of two individuals, identified as Manish Prakash and Ashutosh, who were operating from Patna.
The official stated that Ashutosh arranged safe accommodations for the students, while Manish escorted the candidates to a school to get them ready for the exam.

He stated that these are the first arrests made by the CBI in the NEET paper leak case adding that both accused were presented in court.
On Monday, the CBI assumed responsibility for investigating the NEET (UG) paper leak case in Bihar’s Patna, along with a cheating incident in Gujarat’s Godhra and three cases of alleged impersonation during the examination in Rajasthan.
