Ratlam, Nov 14: JP Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has targeted the Congress party, asserting that their model is a “laapata model” (missing model).
Nadda made the statement on Tuesday during a public meeting in the district’s Alot assembly constituency, in light of the upcoming state assembly elections that are set to take place this week.
“There is a model of the Congress party, which is a ‘laapata model’ (missing model). During their (Congress) tenure, water supply, development, electricity, roads and everything was missing,” he said.
In a critical remark aimed at the Congress government led by Kamal Nath, Nadda questioned the public about whether the 15-month tenure of the Kamal Nath government in the state had hindered CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Sambal Yojana or not.
Earlier today, speaking at a public event in the district on Tuesday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh noted that the perception of India has evolved over the last nine and a half years, and the country is no longer seen as weak.
“Earlier, the perception about India was that it is a weak country, a country of poor but this has changed in the last nine and a half years. Today India is not considered a weak country. Earlier, when India used to speak something on international platforms, people did not listen to it seriously, but today when India speaks on international platforms, the other countries listen carefully,” the Rajnath Singh stated.
India’s global standing has risen significantly. Moreover, in terms of the economy, India, which previously held the 11th position globally, has now ascended to the fifth position, the Defence Minister added.
Furthermore, speaking at a rally in Shajapur district on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi confidently stated that the BJP storm in Madhya Pradesh will uproot Congress.
“I have met people in various parts of MP in the past few days and sought their blessings. The trust being shown in the BJP is amazing. Those making electoral calculations while sitting in Delhi could not make their assessment. Because of people’s tremendous support, the BJP storm in Madhya Pradesh will uproot Congress,” the PM said.
