Ahmedabad, June 29: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided seven places in Gujarat in connection with the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) question paper leak case.
Officials gave this information on Saturday. They said that the raids were started in the morning at the premises of the suspects in four districts Anand, Kheda, Ahmedabad and Godhra.
CBI arrested the principal of Hazaribag’s Oasis School yesterday
The CBI on Friday arrested the principal and vice-principal of Hazaribag’s Oasis School and a journalist of a Hindi newspaper in the NEET-UG question paper leak case.
Officials said that Oasis School Principal Ehsanul Haq was appointed the city coordinator of Hazaribagh for the medical entrance exam NEET-UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 5.

They said that Vice-Principal Imtiaz Alam was appointed as the supervisor of NTA and the centre coordinator of Oasis School.
CBI has registered six FIRs in this case
Officials said that the CBI is also questioning five more people from the district in connection with the question paper leak case.
Officials said on Saturday that journalist Jamaluddin Ansari has been arrested for helping the principal and vice-principal. The CBI has registered six FIRs in this case.
NTA conducted the NEET-UG exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other related courses in government and private institutions across the country on May 5 this year at 4,750 centres in 571 cities.
