INLD and BSP form alliance to contest Haryana assembly elections

Mohali, July 11: Abhay Singh Chautala, Secretary General of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), announced on Thursday that the INLD and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will jointly contest in the upcoming Haryana assembly elections.

Abhay Singh Chautala announced in a press conference that the INLD and BSP have decided to contest the upcoming Haryana assembly elections together.

He emphasized that the public’s current sentiment is to remove the BJP from power and prevent the Congress party, which he accused of looting the state for a decade, from returning.

Additionally, Chautala labeled Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda as an “agent” of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

BSP leader Mayawati, announcing the alliance, stated that the two parties have united to overthrow the anti-people parties, the Congress and the BJP.

In a post on X, Mayawati stated that the Bahujan Samaj Party and Indian National Lok Dal will jointly contest the upcoming Haryana assembly elections with the goal of defeating the anti-people parties and forming a new coalition government.

Mayawati expressed that the alliance aims to establish a welfare government for all segments of society in Haryana. She highlighted the complete unity and mutual respect in the distribution of seats within the alliance. She conveyed her optimism that this unity, supported by the people’s blessings, will overcome their opponents and lead to the formation of a new government.
