He stated, “Right from Independence to the division of Bihar, 25% seats were reserved for qualified and eligible 4th grade employees in promotion into 3rd grade. Even after the division, Bihar continues to give promotion to 4th grade employees, but the same has been denied in Jharkhand till date.”

The federation leader in his letter to CM has also highlighted that, according to the 6th pay scale recommendations, employees working in Mufassil areas should be given promotions, an opportunity that 4th grade employees have been denied. They argue that uniformity should be restored by granting these promotions.

The federation is also demanding a Rs 2,400 grade pay for employees who have completed 10 years of service.

General Secretary Ashok Singh ‘Nayan’ has called for the regularization of daily wage contractual 4th grade employees who have served for 10 years, as per government norms.
