Dhanbad, September 2: Principal District and Sessions Judge, and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ram Sharma, inaugurated the ‘Jagrukta Rath’ (Mobile Lok Adalat) on Monday. The initiative aims to address public issues and raise awareness about the state government welfare projects.
This month-long awareness campaign, directed by the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), will see the ‘Jagrukta Rath’ travelling to all villages and blocks within the district until September 30.
Rath will provide info about govt projects
The mobile unit, accompanied by a team of legal experts, will provide information about government projects and offer on-the-spot resolution of issues.
The Rath will focus on educating villagers and block residents about natural justice and various welfare schemes from September 2 to September 30.

Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Arti Mala stated that through ‘Jagrukta Rath’, people will be informed and alerted about the legal acts, and their problems will be solved on the spot.
DLSA Secretary Nitasha Barla outlined the month-long programme, including the specific dates and locations the Rath will visit throughout the district. She noted that panel advocates, para-legal volunteers, and judicial officers associated with DLSA will provide information about legal acts.
