Jamshedpur, Sept 26: An active monsoon will trigger heavy rain in isolated areas of north-eastern Jharkhand today.
Weathermen at IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre said that thundershowers and lightning are also expected at a few places today.
No alerts have been issued for tomorrow. The forecast suggests drop in maximum temperature in next 48 hours, thereafter there will be no significant changes in day’s temperature.

The low pressure area over west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts moved west northwestwards and has become less marked.
However, the associated cyclonic circulation lies over south Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.
A trough runs from north Konkan to south Bangladesh across the above cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and extends up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.
