Daltonganj, Sept 27: RPF’s (Railway Protection Force) operation Nanhey Farishtey saved the lives of four children from imminent trapping of them by the lurking human traffickers.

Alert RPF personnel

Two alert RPF personnel under the supervision and monitoring of the inspector-in-charge of RPF Garhwa Road Junction post Banarasi Yadav rescued these four children from platform number 1 of the Garhwa Road junction railway station today around 5 am.

Yadav said, “Our two RPF personnel, V P Singh and A K Chowdhury, were on patrol. They detected these four children on platform number 1.”

These four children had earlier come to the Garhwa Road junction by the Dehri-On- Sone Barwadeeh passenger train late Thursday night itself.

They wanted to go to Bishrampur in Palamu. They tried to board a couple of trains going in different directions.

They told the RPF that they left their homes in Bihar’s Rohtas district as their mothers used to beat them up.

Yadav said the four were not of one family but of four different families.

Again, they were in the age group of 4 to 8 years. The rescued were given biscuits and water by the RPF.

RPF inspector-in-charge Yadav said, “The four told us they are not of any school.”
