PINAKI MAJUMDAR

Jamshedpur, Oct 24:  Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma today attended the nomination meeting of BJP candidates in Jamshedpur.

BJP candidate Meera Munda from Potka assembly, Purnima Das Sahu (daughter-in-law of Odisha governor Raghubar Das) from Jamshedpur East, Ramchandra Sahis (of AJSU) from Jugsalai and JDU candidate Sarayu Roy from Jamshedpur West assembly segment filed their nominations.

At the meeting organised at the Bodhi ground in Sakchi Himanta Biswa Sarma said that whenever he had come to Jamshedpur, he spoke to the local youths.

BJP will get CGL scam probed by CBI

“There is no future for the youth in the Hemant Soren government. There are many examinations in the state including CGL, the papers of which are sold for money,” he pointed out.

He went on to say that as soon as the BJP government is formed in Jharkhand, the first cabinet will work to get the CGL scam investigated by the CBI.

“The BJP government will teach a lesson to all those who have committed the grave sin of leaking papers under the JMM- Congress government,” he said addressing the large gathering.

The senior BJP leader was confident of the party’s win in both the Jamshedpur East and Jamshedpur West constituencies.

Hemant govt looted water, forest, land and sand

Criticising JMM, he further said that the Hemant Soren  government in Jharkhand has looted water, forest and land.

“Hemant  Soren’s government also indulged in sand loot. As soon as BJP comes to power the sand mafia will be eliminated and sand will be made available for all. Hemant Soren’s government is only involved in corruption.  Women are unsafe in Hemant Soren’s government. Today, Jharkhand stands at number one in the country in crimes against women,” said Sarma.

In his speech, Sarma enumerated the five principles of the BJP.

He said that as soon as  BJP comes to power in Jharkhand Rs 2,100 will be given to women under the Gogo Didi scheme .

Jharkhand will prosper only if BJP govt is formed

Steps would also be initiated to fill the vacant posts.

“BJP government will provide 1.5 lakh jobs in a year. Hemant Soren has only looted the people of the state. The public has been deceived. Hemant Soren took oath on behalf of his father Shibu Soren, yet did not fulfil the promises made to the people of the state. Hemant Soren is the only leader in the entire country who blatantly lied about his father, ” Sarma alleged.

He further said that Bangladeshi infiltrators are getting protection in Hemant Soren’s government

“Hemant Soren’s government does not want welfare of Jharkhand. The state will prosper only when BJP government is formed in the state, ” the senior party leader claimed.

Earlier, on his arrival in the Steel City this morning the Assam chief minister Hemanta Biswa Sharma went to the residence of the newly elected BJP state spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale at the Circuit House area where he was accorded a warm welcome.

A large number of party leaders including Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato were present to welcome the Assam chief minister who is in Jharkhand tour for the assembly polls.
