New Delhi, Nov 15: On the occasion of ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas,’ President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh paid tributes to Bhagwan Birsa Munda on Friday at the Parliament.
The day honors the contributions and accomplishments of India’s tribal communities, with particular emphasis on Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a renowned tribal leader and freedom fighter.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jamui in Bihar on Friday to mark and celebrate Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas and inaugurate the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Lord Birsa Munda.
