Jamshedpur, Nov 25: Brace for cold as IMD today predicted that chill across Jharkhand would intensify in the next few days.
Weathermen said the free flow of north-westerly currents would intensify chill in all districts of Jharkhand.
“We don’t see any adverse weather conditions which might impact Jharkhand’s weather. The minimum temperature would witness a further fall after the next 48 hours due to free flow of north-westerly winds,” said a Met official.
The minimum temperature was hovering around 11 -12 degrees in Ranchi and Daltonganj while Jamshedpur was a bit warm at 14 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was hovering around 10 degrees Celsius in Garhwa and its adjoining districts.
The forecast suggests clear and dry weather with bright sunshine in most places.
However, weathermen said shallow to moderate fog will continue to prevail at several places during the next 2 to 3 days.
The fog would result in poor visibility at some places early in the morning after sunrise.
