Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Set to create history, the world’s first-ever World Athletics Gold Label 25K race, the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, will kick off at the iconic Red Road on Sunday, December 15.
Football legend Sol Campbell, cricket great Jhulan Goswami, and Tollywood actress Koushani Mukherjee will be joining runners from across the globe in this historic event.
The registration process for #AamarKolkataShonarKolkata is in full swing, and the countdown to the ninth edition of this mega event began amidst the majestic domes, minarets, and arches of the central courtyard of the historic Victoria Memorial.

Slots full for 10K race and open registrations for other categories
Running is fast becoming one of the most popular sports in India, and the biggest proof of Kolkata’s growing enthusiasm for this running movement is that the registrations for this prestigious event with a prize money of USD 142,214 are in full swing.
The 10K race has generated tremendous excitement among running enthusiasts and all the slots are fully filled. Registrations for the 25K Feature Race, Anand Run, Senior Citizen Run, and Champions with Disability are open till November 29, 11:59 PM (IST) or till the slots are filled, whichever is earlier.
