Jamshedpur, Dec 4: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (Tata Steel UISL) has been recognised as a leader in waste management, winning two prestigious awards at the 9th edition of the International Conference on Waste-to-Worth Technologies, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi.

Tata Steel UISL was honoured with the following accolades:

* Industry Leader in Minimizing and Managing Waste Across the Country

* Excellence in Managing Municipal Solid Waste by a Private Firm

The awards were presented during a grand ceremony attended by Bhupendra Yadav, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), along with esteemed dignitaries from CII.

The conference brought together prominent companies, scholars, and professionals from across the globe, showcasing innovative solutions and best practices in waste management.
