Johannesburg, Dec 4: Wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen will captain South Africa in the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan starting December 10.
This change comes as regular captain Aiden Markram is occupied with the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.
Markram, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Tristan Stubbs will miss the T20I series as they are participating in the ongoing Test series with the second Test starting December 5. They have been rested for the T20I series due to the tight schedule between the second Test and the T20Is.
