New Delhi, Dec 10: The Winter Session of Parliament has been repeatedly disrupted due to uproar. On Tuesday, the proceedings of Question Hour in the Lok Sabha could not take place because of the chaos. After the Merchant Shipping Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, a strong uproar broke out.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju launched an attack on the Congress, stating that they have been preventing the house from functioning for four days. He accused Congress of not following parliamentary rules. He said that the dignity of Parliament has been hurt, and they should apologize for it.
The statement by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister led to further uproar, and the Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned until 11 AM on Wednesday, December 11.
Following this, the opposition staged a protest in the Parliament premises over the Adani issue.

Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day due to uproar over Soros issue
The proceedings of the Rajya Sabha could not take place today due to the uproar. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day because of the chaos over the George Soros issue. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, amid the disturbance, announced that the session would be adjourned until 11 AM on December 11.
Before this, Chairman Dhankhar, after taking up the listed business, mentioned receiving a notice under Rule 267 and named Sanjay Singh, which led to the uproar. Sanjay Singh then informed the Chairman that he had submitted a notice regarding the threat of bombing 40 schools in Delhi, which further escalated the chaos. Following this, the Chairman announced that the session would be adjourned until 12 PM.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh launched an attack on Congress over the George Soros issue, questioning why they are not providing clarification on Soros. He accused the opposition of preventing the functioning of Parliament, claiming that they are spreading chaos outside the house.
