Hyderabad, Dec 30: The hearing on Actor Allu Arjun’s bail petition in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case was postponed to January 3 by Hyderabad’s Nampally District Court on Monday.
Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in the case however the Telangana High Court granted him bail the same day.
On December 4, a day before the release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, a premiere of the film was held at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where Allu Arjun was also present. After Allu Arjun exited the theatre, a stampede occurred, resulting in the death of a woman named Revathi. Several others, including her son Shriteja, were seriously injured.

In connection with the incident, Revathi’s husband, Mogadampalli Bhaskar, has filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security agency, and the theatre.
On December 24, Revathi’s son Sri Tej who was injured in the stampede during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2’ in Hyderabad began showing signs of response after 20 days. The child’s father, Bhaskar, acknowledged the support from Allu Arjun and the Telangana government during this challenging time.
On December 25, Allu Aravind, film producer and father of actor Allu Arjun, announced a financial contribution of Rs 2 crores for Sri Tej.
