Ranchi, Jan 11: The National Service Scheme (NSS) of BIT Mesra Lalpur Campus conducted a successful “Cloth Distribution Drive” today at the Ranchi Railway Station and Pahari Tola. This initiative aimed to provide essential winter clothing to underprivileged individuals and foster a sense of social responsibility within the campus community.

Before the distribution, a cloth donation drive was conducted, receiving generous contributions from students, faculty, and residents. NSS volunteers diligently collected, sorted and categorised the donated clothing to ensure efficient distribution. On the day of the event, volunteers prioritized the distribution to elderly individuals, women, and children.

This successful initiative demonstrates NSS’s commitment to community service and highlights the positive impact of such endeavours. The participants expressed strong support for organising similar events in the future, reflecting the desire to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
