New Delhi, Jan 24: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches on Friday at nine locations across Rajasthan, including the premises of former Independent MLA Baljeet Singh Yadav, as part of an investigation into alleged misappropriation of MLA funds.
According to ED officials, the probe centers on claims that funds intended for supplying sports equipment to schools were embezzled, with substandard items being provided instead.

The searches began early in the day and were conducted in Jaipur, Dausa, and Rewari.
Yadav, who previously represented Behror as an Independent MLA, is accused of playing a key role in this financial irregularity by facilitating the supply of inferior-quality sports equipment to educational institutions.
