Jamshedpur, Feb 1: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of shallow to moderate fog for the next 48 hours. The fog would be witnessed early in the morning followed by a clear sky later.

Today, several places in northern Jharkhand witnessed cloud formation due to the impact of a western disturbance.

An induced cyclonic circulation over western Rajasthan was hovering over Haryana  extending upto 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.

A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect northwest India from February 3.
