Jamshedpur, Feb 7:  The minimum temperature witnessed a fall across Jharkhand bringing back the morning chill. The forecast suggests mist in the morning and mainly clear sky later for the next few days.

IMD Ranchi Meteorological Centre’s forecast suggests fall in maximum temperature by 3-4°C during next three days; thereafter no large change in the subsequent two days.

Met statistics indicated that Chatra today recorded these state’s lowest minimum temperature of 6.6 degrees Celsius while Garhwa recorded 7 degrees.

Khunti recorded a minimum temperature of 7.3 degrees Celsius while Hazaribagh recorded 8.4 degrees. Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 8.7 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 10.4 degrees.

Today’s Met statistics suggested a fall in minimum temperature in most places across Jharkhand.

A Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and Jammu region at 3.1 Km above mean sea level with a trough aloft in the middle tropospheric level with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level persists.

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from February 8.
