Dhanbad, Feb 13: The Rashtriya Janata Shramik Sangh (RJSS) central committee election is set to take place on February 27. The decision was finalized during a meeting of the central committee, where RJSS General Secretary Abdhesh Kumar appointed Kashi Nath Prasad as the electoral officer to oversee the election process.

RJSS serves as the labour wing of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Jharkhand and is led by Abdhesh Kumar, son of former Bihar minister Abo Devi. With RJD securing four seats in the 2025 Jharkhand Assembly elections, enthusiasm among RJSS leaders and members in the coal belt has significantly risen.
