Daltonganj, March 3: Prof Dr Dinesh Kumar Singh today, March 3, took charge as the Vice Chancellor of the Nilamber Pitamber University. The chair of the VC had been lying vacant since February 1.
Dr Singh was in the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar.
He was received by the registrar in charge Dr S K Mishra and the proctor in charge Dr K C Jha, and a host of other officials.

His tenure will be of three years from the date he assumes the charge here at the Nilamber Pitamber University.
Now, the NPU waits for its Pro VC, the post of which has been vacant since June 2023.
