DPS Bokaro: Three projects of students qualify for NCSC, CRC national final

Dhanbad, Dec 4: Three projects of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro qualified for the 31 National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) and 26th Child Rights Congress (CRC).

Three teams of six students participated in the state-level competition held at Pundag, Ranchi with their creativity and qualified for national.  An official said  200 students from 14 districts of the state had participated in the competition.

The team of Sarvagya Singh (class 10), Rishit Sandilya (class 9) presented a ground breaking model designed to detect and address the health issue of cattle and their project was declared best in the NCSC senior category.

As per the project cattle owners can also connect with veterinarians through the revolutionary “Nandini” app, facilitating video conferences for real-time advice and first aid.

Another team comprising Ayushi Sharma (class 7) and Twinkle Sinha (class 6) innovated a biometric system–based sanitary pad box in the CRC junior category competition while the team of  Ananya Pandey Titiksha Singh (both class 8) produced a project on environmental conservation, mitigation and energy literacy for school children.

DPS Bokaro principal Dr AS Gangwar and teachers of the institution congratulated the students and highly appreciated their achievement. “DPS Bokaro isn’t just shaping academic stars; it’s also fostering an ambience for compassionate innovators,” said the principal.
