Jamshedpur, April 5: The forecast of IMD Ranchi Meteorological Centre indicated that the weather across Jharkhand is expected to remain mainly clear and dry on April 5 and 6.

However, a shift is anticipated from April 7 (Monday), with light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places, particularly over North-Eastern regions and adjoining areas.

By April 8, the sky is expected to turn partly cloudy with the possibility of rain or thunderstorms at isolated locations.

Residents are advised to stay updated on local weather conditions, especially those in the northeastern zones, as intermittent rainfall may bring brief disruptions.

Meanwhile, the prevailing Western Disturbance, earlier seen as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu and its neighbouring regions at 5.8 Km above mean sea level, has now shifted into a trough in the westerlies.

This trough extends along longitude 75°E, north of latitude 32°N. In addition, a cyclonic circulation persists over West Madhya Pradesh and surrounding areas at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.

Today’s forecast also indicated a rise in maximum temperature by 2 to 3° C n the next 72 hours.
