TRF announces ‘Second Innings’ VRS for eligible employees

Jamshedpur, May 20:  In a move that underscores its appreciation for the long-standing contributions of its workforce, TRF Limited, a Tata Enterprise, has introduced a new initiative titled ‘Second Innings’ – Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS).

This scheme aims to provide a dignified and financially secure transition for eligible employees who wish to explore new life opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

The scheme is open from June 1 to June 30, 2025, for employees who meet the following criteria:

Must be in a permanent role (Officers or Non-Officers)

Must have attained 40 years of age

Must have completed a minimum of 10 years of continuous service with the organization as of March 31, 2025

Key Benefits of the Scheme

‘Second Innings’ is designed to ensure a respectful exit while maintaining financial stability. Key benefits include:

Financial Payout: 50% to 75% of current monthly gross salary

Flexible Options: Choice between a one-time lump sum settlement or a monthly pension for up to 5 years

Accommodation Support: Continued use of company accommodation for up to one year

Medical Coverage: Medical facilities extended until the notional age of superannuation
