In a brief but impactful speech, DIG Naushad Alam praised the Lions Femina team, quoting an Urdu couplet meaning of which was, ‘if there is determination, destination is not far away’.

He also commended SP Reeshma Ramesan, calling her a “Jaanbaaz” (brave) officer, and acknowledged the challenges faced by traffic cops working in adverse conditions.

SP Reeshma Ramesan expressed pride in the initiative and shared efforts being made for the welfare of traffic personnel. “We’ve requested nearby shopkeepers to offer a stool or chair for traffic cops to rest when traffic is light and to allow access to washrooms for our female officers,” she said.
