President Droupadi Murmu’s Deoghar visit postponed

THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK

 

Ranchi, June 7: President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled visit to Deoghar has been postponed.

Rashtrapati Bhavan conveyed this information to the district administration and state officials on Friday evening. As a result, the President will no longer be visiting Deoghar on June 10.

President Murmu was slated to attend the convocation ceremony of AIIMS Deoghar on June 11.

She was also scheduled to offer prayers at the Baba Baidyanath Dham temple ahead of the event.

The new date for the convocation will be decided once an updated schedule for the President’s visit is finalised.
