A meeting of the federation was held at its Hinoo-based office in Ranchi, where key office-bearers including President Manoj Kumar Sinha, Amar Kishore Prasad Sinha, Raghunandan Vishwakarma, and other senior leaders unanimously decided to endorse the strike.

Ashok Kumar Singh Nayan stated that all state government employees have been instructed to hold sit-ins and demonstrations at their respective workplaces on July 9 to ensure the success of the strike.
He further added that employees have been forced to take this step due to the central government’s policies, which include the scrapping of 29 labour laws, weakening of social security schemes, and the erosion of workers’ rights.
