Ranchi, July 21: Six Rajya Sabha MPs from Jharkhand have so far spent ₹45.21 crore under the Local Area Development Fund. Among them, MP Mahua Maji tops the list in terms of the number of completed development projects, while MP Deepak Prakash leads in overall expenditure.
A total of 286 development projects were approved under Mahua Maji’s recommendations, of which 75 have been completed.
No Projects Completed by Sarfaraz and Pradeep Verma
On the other hand, Rajya Sabha MPs Sarfaraz Ahmad and Pradeep Verma have not completed even a single project. While 77 projects were recommended under Sarfaraz Ahmad’s allocation, none have been finished. Similarly, 131 projects were recommended under Pradeep Verma, but not a single one has been completed.
