At Tata Steel Works Main Gate, the National Flag will be unfurled at 8 a.m. by D. B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President (Corporate Services), with dignitaries and guests expected to be seated by 7:45 a.m.

In a historic first, Tatanagar railway station will witness the unfurling of a monumental 100-feet-high tricolour at 11 a.m., organised by the Tata Nagar Rail Civil Defence.

Led by Vimal Dev Paswan, the ceremony will feature a grand parade march and the felicitation of railway employees and local citizens for exemplary service.

The city’s main public celebration will unfold at Gopal Maidan at 9:05 a.m., where Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi will hoist the tricolour and inspect the parade.

Contingents from the Rapid Action Force (RAF), District Armed Police, JAP-6, Home Guards, NCC, CRPF, Scouts and Guides, and students from numerous schools will march in precise synchrony, showcasing discipline and patriotic fervour.
