Jamshedpur, August 23: St. John’s High School, Jugsalai, hosted its Prize Night Celebration, an event dedicated to honoring academic excellence and showcasing cultural talent. The program drew participation from students, parents, teachers, and dignitaries.
The evening began with a solemn assembly and rendition of the National Anthem. A short Safety Pause followed, reminding everyone about the importance of mindfulness and responsibility in daily life.
The celebration formally commenced with a welcome address, after which dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp. The atmosphere was further brightened by a graceful welcome dance performed by the school’s Dance Club.

A major highlight of the evening was the Principal’s Annual Report. Principal Ashu Tiwary highlighted the school’s academic milestones, co-curricular achievements, and future aspirations.
This was followed by a string of cultural performances that reflected the creativity and energy of the students. The Unity in Diversity Dance celebrated the cultural richness of India, while the Dance of Pretty Little Babies pleased the audience.
The most anticipated moment of the program came with the Academic Achievers’ Awards, where meritorious students were felicitated for their outstanding scholastic performance.

The soulful Dance in the Language of the Soul was presented, while other awards and scholarships recognized excellence in diverse fields beyond academics. The cultural segment concluded with a Robotic Dance.
The evening ended on a gracious note with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Councillor Vishal Rajak, who applauded the efforts of the school management, teachers, and students in making the event a grand success.
