THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

Ranchi, Dec. 15: Angered by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) working style, many students protested publicly before its office today.

During the protest, a student tried to commit suicide. However, the police immediately took him into custody.

Failure of JSSC

The angry students alleged that due to the failure of JSSC, an examination was not being conducted even after eight years.

Notably, the Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination-2023 was rescheduled a few days back because the examination agency expressed its helplessness in conducting the test. The examination will be held on January 21 and January 28.

Students’ trouble

Students are facing trouble as they need to repeatedly fill out the examination form, following the JSSC’s announcing postponement, and then announcing the new date of the examination. Due to such repeated actions by the JSSC since 2015, the students’ anger was at its peak. Even before this, students had protested against it.
