Jamshedpur, Oct 11: The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Jamshedpur Desk, hosted its annual change-over and installation ceremony on Thursday evening at The Boulevard Hotel. During the event, Tapas Sahu, Managing Director of Highco Engineers Pvt. Ltd., was formally inducted as the Chairman for 2025–26.
The newly constituted board includes Devang Gandhi, Director of Empire Auto Pvt. Ltd., as Vice-Chairman, and Krishna Kharia, Director of Multitech Components Pvt. Ltd., as Treasurer.
It was also announced that veteran member Ronald D’Costa has been nominated to the Regional Committee of the Eastern Region.
The event drew several prominent members of the IACC Jamshedpur Desk, including Nakul Kamani, Sanjeev Raman, Ronald D’Costa, Devang Gandhi, Krishna Kharia, Uttam Agarwal, Sharat Chandran Nair, Pratik Dhaboo, and A.K. Srivastava. Prospective members Rishabh Agarwal and Udey Dhir also participated in the meeting.

In his address, the newly appointed Chairman, Tapas Sahu, reaffirmed his commitment to furthering the objectives of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. He emphasised his focus on strengthening trade relations and fostering collaboration between Indian and American enterprises, while continuing to build on the initiatives undertaken by his predecessors.
The gathering also looked forward to the upcoming visit of IACC National President, Anup Acharya, who is scheduled to attend the National Executive Committee Meeting in Jamshedpur on February 28, 2026.
The ceremony concluded on a note of optimism, with members expressing renewed enthusiasm for promoting international business partnerships and driving industrial growth across the region.
