Dhanbad, Oct 29: The Jharkhand Under-19 boys’ and girls’ teams have been announced for the upcoming Yonex-Sunrise 48th Inter-State and Junior National (East Zone) Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, from 17 to 22 November.

Announcing the teams, K. Prabhakar Rao, Secretary of the Jharkhand Badminton Association and Joint Secretary of the Badminton Association of India, said the players were selected based on their performance in the State Championship held in Hazaribagh from 22 to 24 August.

“Since the winners and runners-up have been included in the squads, I am confident both teams will perform well at the championship,” said Rao.
