Jamshedpur, Oct 31: Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, celebrated National Unity Day to mark the birth anniversary of India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On this occasion, the university fraternity pledged to uphold the ideals of national unity, integrity, and harmony.
The event was organized under the coordination of Dr. Shivchand Jha and Patatri Mali, both of whom played a vital role in the successful conduct of the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jha highlighted the essence of India’s strength, stating, “The greatest power of our nation lies in its unity in diversity. India is a land of many languages, religions, castes, cultures, traditions, and ideologies — yet, what binds us together is the shared spirit of Indianness and nationalism.”

He urged the youth to imbibe the ideals of Sardar Patel in their lives and remain dedicated to the unity and integrity of the nation.
Patatri Mali administered the National Unity Pledge and conveyed a message of harmony, brotherhood, and togetherness.
The campus reverberated with patriotic fervour, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of national pride.
