Jamshedpur, Nov 5: XLRI has launched the Xavier Scholar Entrance Test (XSET), a new national-level examination for admission to its Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM).
The test will be held on January 4, 2026, across 12 cities in India.
Aimed at fostering research-driven leadership, XSET seeks scholars who can go beyond management practice to shape ideas and influence the future of business and society.

The test will evaluate candidates on management aptitude, research interest, analytical ability, and ethical orientation.

XLRI’s FPM and EFPM prepare scholars for academia, research-based consulting, corporate training, and leadership roles.
The programmes offer specializations in nine areas, including Economics, Finance, HRM, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations, with mentorship from globally experienced faculty.
Full-time scholars also receive financial aid and free hostel accommodation at XLRI’s 40-acre green campus in Jamshedpur.
“At XLRI, we bring together scholars across disciplines to foster uninhibited knowledge creation,” said J. Ajith Kumar, Associate Dean, FPM & Research.
Registration for XSET 2026 is now open. For details and online application, candidates can visit XLRI’s official website.
