Jharkhand News: DBMS English School hosts Hindi Elocution Competition

Jamshedpur, Nov 12: DBMS English School, Jamshedpur, hosted its Hindi Elocution Competition on Wednesday, with participation from students of KG II to Class XII. The event aimed to encourage students to develop confidence, fluency, and love for the Hindi language while enhancing their overall communication and presentation skills.

The results of the competition were as follows: In the KG II and Std. I category, the winners were Std. I B, and the runners-up were KG II A. In Std. II and III, Std. III A emerged as the winner, while Std. II B was the runner-up.

In the Std. IV and V category, Vaidehi Pandey secured the first position, followed by Veer Bhamra as the first runner-up and Yaline Hore as the second runner-up, with a memento of encouragement presented to Nitya Das.

In Std. VI, VII, and VIII, Inika Prakash Abhale was declared the winner, followed by Rayan Sarkar and Sagnik Pati as the first and second runners-up respectively, while Indrakshi Ghosh, Lineysha Sharma, and Tanishq Khandelwal received mementos of encouragement.

Among Std. IX and X students, Akansha Kriti stood first, followed by Arjun Bharadwaj and Siddhant Jha, with an encouragement memento awarded to Shreyasi Srivastava.

In the senior-most category of Std. XI and XII, the winner was Sharanya Jha, while Richa Arvind Singh and Sweta Rani were declared the first and second runners-up respectively, and Mannat Kaur received a memento of encouragement.

The panel of judges comprised Rohini Sathe, Trustee of Maharashtra Bhagini Samaj, Sushma Samson from Sacred Heart Convent School, and Juhi Samarpita from DBMS College of Education. They appreciated the participants for their clarity, creativity, and stage presence, and congratulated them for their confident performances. The judges also encouraged the young orators to continue refining their public speaking skills.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by School Secretary Archana Ramesh, Treasurer Lalita Seshadri, Principal Rajni Shekhar, and Vice Principal P. K. Sahu, who presented the awards to the winners. The event was supported by Patron Bhanumathi Neelakant, Chairperson Lalita Chandrashekhar, and Chairperson B. Chandrashekhar. Parents were also present on the occasion, making the event even more special and encouraging for the students.
