Daltonganj, November 13: Eight victims, including one woman, who were duped by cyber thugs, got a total sum of Rupees 2,63,500 back after an excruciating wait for nearly 3 to 4 months from the date they were duped by the cyber criminals.

Palamu SP Reeshma Ramesan has confirmed the recovery of the money so siphoned off by the cyber criminals.

Among the 8 victims, the lone woman victim got back her duped 11,500 rupees, while one Md Zishan recovered his 1,000 rupees.

Himalaya Kumar Paswan was a big victim, losing 1,10,000, who also got his duped money recovered.

An official in the Daltonganj anti-cyber police station said these 8 got what they had lost to the cyber criminals.
