Patna, Nov 15: Rohini Acharya, daughter of former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, announced on Saturday that she is stepping away from politics and distancing herself from her family.
Her decision came a day after the RJD suffered a heavy setback in the Bihar Assembly elections, winning only 25 of the 243 seats.
She took aim at RJD MP Sanjay Yadav, a close associate of Tejashwi Yadav, as well as Rameez, saying she was accepting full responsibility for the situation and acting on what they had asked her to do.

I’m quitting politics and I’m disowning my family …

Rohini’s move has further deepened the ongoing rift within the Yadav family. The strain had already intensified earlier this year when her brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, was removed from both the party and the family after a dispute related to his personal life.
