Jamshedpur, Dec 1: Jamshedpur is set to witness a landmark moment in its art landscape as celebrated painter Bijay Biswaal arrives in the city for the first time to guide young artists at the upcoming Prakriti Residential Art Workshop, organised by Prakriti Fine Arts Academy.

Hailing from Nagpur, Biswaal left a stable career in Indian Railways to pursue his passion for art—a journey that has since earned him national acclaim.

His evocative paintings, known for their breathtaking realism and emotional depth, capture everyday life with cinematic clarity.

His work has drawn praise from none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who mentioned him in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, further cementing his status as one of India’s most inspiring contemporary artists.

Established five years ago by Shubham Gorai, Prakriti Fine Arts Academy has emerged as a training hub for budding artists in Jamshedpur.

Through classical drawing, outdoor painting, and studio studies, the academy has been nurturing young talent and strengthening their artistic foundations.

Inviting Biswaal to the workshop is seen as a major milestone for the academy.

The celebrated master artist, known for his finesse in acrylics and watercolours, will share his signature techniques, artistic philosophy, and decades of experiential learning with participants.

His landscapes and figurative works have garnered admiration across India and abroad, and his mentorship is expected to be a transformative experience for emerging artists.

The three-day residential workshop, scheduled to be held amid the scenic Ayodhya Hills in Purulia, will allow participants to immerse themselves in nature while learning directly from seasoned masters.

Alongside Biswaal, senior artists Madhusudan Das and Kanan Khandelwal will also conduct sessions, offering a rare multi-mentor learning experience.

With the convergence of acclaimed artists and young talent, the workshop promises to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, inspiration, and artistic exploration.
