The IIT (ISM) team included Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director; Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director; Prof. Parthasarathi Das, Dean (R&D); Prof. Bhanwar Singh Choudhary, HoD Mining Engineering; Prof. Srinivas Pasupuleti, HoD Civil Engineering; and Prof. Vasanta Govind Kumar Villuri, Department of Mining Engineering and nodal officer for the MoU.

Er. T.P. Mallik appreciated the collaboration, noting that the policy ensures that geospatial data—developed through significant national investment—benefits the public, researchers, and academic institutions.

He highlighted that the MoU will facilitate access to advanced datasets, including those supported by 1,100 CORS across India and the Regional Centre of Geodesy at IIT (ISM), significantly reducing the time and equipment traditionally needed to acquire accurate survey coordinates.
