Ramgarh, January 15: On the occasion of Army Day, the Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh Cantonment, flagged off Hardik Milan Dal 4.0, an outreach initiative dedicated to the welfare of ex-servicemen, veernaris, widows, and their dependents.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of the Jharkhand and Bihar Sub Area and aims to directly connect with veterans and their families to address grievances and provide welfare-related assistance.
Outreach Across 10 Districts of Punjab
Hardik Milan Dal 4.0 will cover 10 districts of Punjab, including SAS Nagar (Mohali), Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, SBS Nagar (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar), Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Moga, Faridkot, Barnala, and Mansa.
The team will interact with veterans, veernaris, widows, and dependents, addressing their complaints and resolving long-pending issues at the grassroots level.

Flag-Off Ceremony
The contingent was flagged off at 10:30 am on January 15, 2026, by Brig Sajesh Babu PG, Commandant of the Punjab Regimental Centre, along with Lt Col Debasish Dey, Chief Record Officer, Records Punjab Regimental Centre.
Welfare Services and Awareness Programs
In addition to grievance redressal, special programmes will be organised to provide information on:
- Pension benefits
- Facilities available to veterans and veernaris
- Uploading of Digital Life Certificates
- Other welfare schemes for widows and dependents
Fourth Successful Edition
The Hardik Milan initiative, launched in 2023, has now entered its fourth successful edition, reinforcing the Indian Army’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of its veterans and their families.
