Dhanbad, Jan 22: MBBS students of Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH), Dhanbad, showcased their artistic talent by securing top positions in various extracurricular events during the institution’s annual sports and cultural festival Antarangni.
Both boys and girls participated enthusiastically, displaying exceptional creativity and skills in events such as sketching, mehndi, face painting and make-up.
Sports in-charge of the college, Dr C.S. Suman, who is also the hospital manager, said that results for four competitions—mehndi, face painting, make-up and sketching—have been declared. The winners will be awarded prizes during the closing ceremony to be held on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on Thursday.
Judges Face Tough Choice
Dr Suman said the jury faced a tough task in finalising the results, as students demonstrated outstanding artistic abilities in make-up, sketching, tattoo-style art and other creative forms.
Principal Dr R.K. Mahto and senior faculty members visited the venue to encourage the participants and expressed their appreciation after witnessing the artistic talents of the MBBS students.
