Ranchi, February 2: Ahead of the Class XII Board Examinations, Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi organised a Blessing Ceremony titled ‘Subheksha – Good Wishes’ for the Batch 2025–26 at the Vivekananda Auditorium on February 2, 2026. The event aimed to motivate students and seek blessings for their academic success.

Ceremony Begins with Traditional Rituals
The programme began with Class XII students presenting a sapling to the Honourable Principal, Dr. Jaya Chauhan, symbolising gratitude and new beginnings. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana by the school choir, setting a serene and positive tone.

Principal Motivates Students for Board Exams
Addressing the students, Dr. Jaya Chauhan encouraged them to face the board examinations with confidence, discipline, and calmness. She stressed that exams test not only knowledge but also perseverance, character, and consistency. She advised students to manage stress, stay focused, and give their best with honesty and resilience, assuring them of the school’s constant support.


Lunch Session Reflects Spirit of Togetherness
A key highlight was the lunch session, in which the Principal and teachers served food to students, reflecting the spirit of ‘Langar’ and the values of equality and humility. An open mic musical session during lunch added to the comforting atmosphere.
Cultural Performances and Student Reflections
Students presented a soulful musical performance titled ‘Raga and Rhythm’, followed by ‘Rewind and Relive’, a video capturing their journey from early schooling to senior classes. The event also featured an energetic dance performance and the ‘Retrospect’ segment, where students shared poems, songs, and heartfelt messages thanking their teachers and school.
Memorable Send-Off for Class XII Batch
Each student received a customised diary with a motivational message from the Principal, along with a pen, as a keepsake. The programme concluded with a lively DJ session, group photographs, and a Vote of Thanks, making the farewell both memorable and emotionally enriching.
