Jamshedpur, February 19:
XLRI – Xavier School of Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Centific Global Technologies, marking a significant step in strengthening industry–academia collaboration in the domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-driven strategies.

The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Kanagaraj Ayyalusamy, Convenor – Corporate Relations and Placements, XLRI, and Lakshmi Narasimhan Rangachari, General Manager – India, along with Pooja Michael Anthony, Global Head – Workforce Solutions and Talent, representing Centific Global Technologies.

Focus on research, innovation and talent development

The partnership reflects a shared vision to develop future-ready talent and accelerate innovation at the intersection of management education and advanced technologies.

Under this strategic alliance, XLRI and Centific will collaborate on research, consulting, executive training, academic engagement and talent development. The initiative aims to provide meaningful opportunities for students and faculty to engage with global industry leaders and address real-world challenges in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Key initiatives under the partnership

The collaboration will include:

  • Guest lectures and CXO leadership engagements
  • Development of industry-relevant case studies and knowledge exchange
  • Consulting and executive training programmes tailored to organisational needs
  • Structured campus engagement and talent development initiatives
  • Seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions on emerging technologies and innovation

MoU signing witnessed by senior faculty and officials

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Rahul Shukla, Chairperson – Admissions; Prof. Harshit Kumar Singh; and Prof. Farheen Fathima Shaik of XLRI, along with Titli Banerjee, Outreach Lead, Centific Global Technologies.

The event was coordinated by Himanshu Shekhar, Senior Manager, XLRI Jamshedpur.

The collaboration was described as a significant milestone, reinforcing XLRI’s mission to nurture ethical leaders, innovative thinkers and industry-ready professionals capable of navigating the opportunities and complexities of the digital era.

Through this partnership, XLRI and Centific Global Technologies aim to co-create impactful learning experiences, strengthen knowledge exchange, and advance AI-driven innovation and leadership.
