Jamshedpur, March 26: The city administration has gone on high alert ahead of upcoming festivals and flag processions, with a strong focus on maintaining law and order.

Security Review and Preparedness
STF DIG Indrajeet visited Jamshedpur to review security arrangements and held a high-level meeting with senior police officials, including the Senior Superintendent of Police, City SP, and Rural SP. He stressed that maintaining peace, communal harmony, and public safety during the festive period must be the top priority. Strict instructions were issued to intensify patrolling in sensitive areas and keep close watch on anti-social elements, warning of strict action against any negligence.

Route Inspection and Surveillance Measures
After the meeting, the DIG, along with officials, inspected designated routes for the upcoming flag processions. Sensitive zones and crowded areas were closely reviewed, and on-the-spot directions were issued to address potential challenges. Adequate police deployment has been ordered along all routes, with enhanced surveillance through CCTV cameras and drones. Quick Response Teams (QRTs) have also been placed on high alert to handle emergencies.

The police have appealed to citizens to maintain communal harmony and avoid spreading or believing rumours, ensuring that the festivities conclude peacefully.
