THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

 

Ranchi, April 17: The 3rd Jharkhand NeoCon, a three-day conference organised by the Jharkhand National Neonatology Forum (Ranchi chapter), began at the RIMS Auditorium on Friday and will continue till April 19. Around 250–300 paediatricians from across Jharkhand and other parts of the country are participating in the event.

Experts from AIIMS, Delhi, Kolkata among speakers

Several eminent doctors from leading institutions are attending the conference, including experts from AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Deoghar, Safdarjung Hospital, LHMC New Delhi, SSKM Kolkata, and other centres.

The announcement was made during a press conference at IMA Bhawan by doctors including Dr. Parth Kumar Chaudhary, Dr. Anand Jagnani, Dr. O.P. Mansaria, Dr. Krishna Kumar, Dr. Kiran Shankar Das, Dr. Shailesh Chandra, Dr. Parmanand Kashi, Dr. Rajesh Kumar (Balpan), Dr. Anitabha Kumar, Dr. Shaktipada Das, and Dr. Ravi Shekhar.

Focus on newborn care, latest medical advancements

The conference aims to promote knowledge sharing and discuss the latest advancements in neonatology and pediatric care.

On April 17, sessions include care of extremely premature infants, specialised training for nurses, and discussions on newborn care, including respiratory support and related conditions. Over the next two days, experts from across the country will share insights on modern medical practices to improve child healthcare outcomes.
