PINAKI MAJUMDAR
Jamshedpur, October 22: Jharkhand is likely to experience foggy or misty mornings followed by mainly clear skies over the coming days, with no significant change expected in maximum or minimum temperatures over the next five days, according to the weather forecast.
The state is expected to witness predominantly dry conditions, with morning fog or mist likely in several districts from October 22 to 25. Skies are likely to remain mainly clear during the latter part of the day, bringing relief from prolonged cloudy conditions.
The forecast indicates that both daytime and nighttime temperatures are likely to remain largely stable over the next five days, with no major fluctuations expected.
A slight change in weather conditions is likely towards the end of the forecast period. On October 26, fog or mist is expected during the morning, followed by partly cloudy skies later in the day.
Isolated Rain, Thunderstorms Possible on October 27
The possibility of rain or thunderstorms at isolated places has been indicated for October 27, particularly in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of Jharkhand.
The districts to watch include Sahibganj, Pakur, Godda, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara and Giridih in the north-east, along with East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan in the south-east.
Residents in these areas may experience a temporary change in weather conditions if isolated showers or thunderstorms develop.
Morning Fog May Affect Visibility
Morning fog and mist may reduce visibility at some places, particularly during the early hours. Motorists and commuters are advised to remain cautious while travelling in areas affected by reduced visibility.
According to the meteorological outlook, no significant synoptic weather system is currently prevailing over Jharkhand. As a result, largely stable and dry weather is expected to continue across the state in the immediate future, although localised rain or thunderstorms may affect selected areas towards October 27.
Overall, Jharkhand is likely to experience predominantly dry weather, misty mornings and clear to partly cloudy skies through much of the forecast period.
